Shalom Dear Brothers and Sisters

Prayer Discipline Becoming Desire.

When we decide in our hearts and discipline ourselves to setting apart a certain amount of time first thing in the morning with the Lord in prayer you can be sure He will be there.  Be assured that as you do this your time spent in the very presence of God will grow.  Daniel prayed three times a day (Daniel 6:11) David also prayed three times a day (Psalm 55:18)  However, once we begin our day experiencing the fullness and presence of God in our lives it helps make each day easier.

I'm not saying we are going to have trials come up throughout the day, but after spending time in His presence our attitudes will change.  The other thing that will happen is that every day when we wake up the first thing on our mind will be the Lord!  It will become second nature for us to want to reach for His Word and hunger after His presence to get through another day.  It may mean, setting the alarm 15 minutes early to start with but I assure you this, you will also find you won't be a will to go to sleep until you have had another special time with Him.  Thanking Him for helping you to make it through another day sometimes asking forgiveness.  As time goes by it no longer becomes a discipline but a desire for that sweet time that flows out of the love relationship as you begin to see Him in the things around you throughout your day.  He will reveal Himself to you in new and wonderful ways.  Only He knows your heart because He created you, He will show you the things He knows you need to know about Himself.
