Shalom Dear Brothers and Sisters THE Shulamite Song of Solomon 2:14 “ O my dove, in the clefts of the rock, In the secret places of the cliff, Let me see your face, Let me hear your voice; For your voice is sweet, And your face is lovely.” This is a very difficult book to understand it's been so misinterpreted in so many ways yet there is still much wisdom in it.  The dove is often represented as the Holy Spirit.  As I was reading this I can see that the Shulamite understood the secret of being alone and in the presence of the Almighty.  For that's where we hear His voice.  That's where he speaks to us sweet and wonderful things.  That is where we truly seek His face. Yeshua told us when we pray to go into our closets, shut the door, where our Father sees us in secret (Matthew 6:6).  I personally have been challenged by this recently.  Our wonderful Abba sent His precious Son so that we who were lost in transgressions may have true fellowship with the Creator of all things seen and unseen.  He longs for us to come and sit at His feet.  He wants to refresh us.  He wants to just pour His Love into our hearts so that we can go and share it with others.  He wants to direct our paths.  He wants us to seek Him in secret. Some things are just for us that is to say, sometimes He just wants to share special things with each and every one of us personally for our own benefit.  Other times it's so that we can share them with our brothers and sisters to encourage them.  That is why we fellowship with each other.  How easy it is to sit and talk for hours and listen and have a conversation with a friend.  How difficult it is to sit for even one hour with the one we call "our best friend", the Lord our God.  Our Good Shepherd Yeshua.  Let's try and be like the Shulamite let's hide in the secret place and allow the Holy Spirit to enable us to seek the one who longs for us!  I know I long to hear that sweet voice. I know I also am guilty of not hiding away with Him as much as I should or even could.  Instead of looking forward to the day when we will be ever for with Him let's start being with Him as much as we can now so that when we stand before the great judge we will know each other.
