Shalom Dear Brothers and Sisters Authority I want to share with you a few things I've learned over the last few weeks.  I highly doubt I will be able to share it all in one newsletter.  I first want to look at the disciples in Luke chapter 10 that Yeshua sent out in pairs.  He sent them out that time without a purse or an extra cloak.  He gave them clear instructions when they entered a house they were to speak peace and if they were received they were to stay there and minister the gospel of the good news.  Heal the sick, and cast out demons because the harvest was ripe. We are all familiar with the 12 disciples and they too had been sent out in Luke chapter 9.  These were the 70 other disciples that also followed Yeshua.  He gave them authority to do all these things in His name.  He also made it clear that if they were not received they were to simply walk away and dust the sand from their sandals off against that city.  Yeshua goes on to declare that there are three cities that will face great wrath at the end of the age because they refused Him!  The 70 disciples returned with great joy declaring that even the demons were subject to them in the name of Yeshua.  Yeshua reaffirmed to them that he had given them power to trample on scorpions and serpents and over all the power of the enemy.  That the enemy could no way harm them.  Most importantly they needed to realize their joy needed to be firmly established in the fact that their names were written in the Lambs Book of Life.  This is where our focus needs to lay!  This is what we need to find our joy in.  We need to hide away in the secret place of the most high God and get to know our Redeemer our Messiah.  Following His Footsteps He walked in love and mercy and He desires we do the same.  Yes there are times and situations when we need to use our God-given authority to cast out demons and strongholds but this is not where our rejoicing comes from!  Our rejoicing comes out of a knowledge that the King of Kings gave His very life for our redemption and He deserves all the glory and praise that we can muster up!  Let's give Him all the praise He is due!  Let's read His Word and allow Him to write it on our hearts and change our lives for His glory!
