Shalom Dear Brothers and Sisters The Blind Man Sees I love the story about the blind man in John chapter 9. This man was blind from birth of course everyone assumes it is because of some sin. Yeshua explains, no not at all, this was so that He would be glorified. What I really find interesting is that Yeshua takes some of the earth spits in it making clay and anoints the man's eyes. Once again He simply lets us see a small glimpse of who He really is. What did Elohim do when He created man other than form us from the earth! Is this what He was saying when Yeshua said neither him or his parents had sinned rather this happened so that God may be glorified. He was saying I was there, I was a part of creating Adam. When he is called before the Pharisees and questioned, he stands his ground. His parents on the other hand want no part of it they said yes he was their son but as to how he was healed they do not know and put the onus back on their son saying he is old enough to answer for himself. They did this because they were afraid of the Pharisees and being kicked out of the synagogue. The young man on the other hand showed his gratitude and was not afraid and became a follower of Yeshua. Of course he lost his status in that particular synagogue but instead he found salvation and he rejoiced! I know for myself many times people don't understand what I am doing but they cannot deny there is something different about me. Not that I am anything special except that I have found a better way and the one who came to save me now lives inside of me! To Him be all the glory and praise for without Yahweh in my life I could not do anything. Without the sacrifice of Yeshua and the baptism of the Holy Spirit I would not be able to stand and face each day! I have already had some healing and I've had family members come and tell me to keep quiet at the very least keep them out of my testifying of any healings I've received in public. I respect their position as I understand where they are at. Looking at things in the natural we would all think that these parents of this young man who had been blind from birth would be rejoicing with him but because of the fear of man and what others may think they shy away distancing themselves from the situation. This is what Yeshua was talking about when He said I have not come to bring peace but to turn father against son and son against father my paraphrase. It is still happening today! There are people who know the truth but if they left to walk and follow the way of the Lord they would lose their position of stature in their large churches. I am not judging here, this is a call to prayer. Yeshua quoted Isaiah Chapter 6:10, "Make this heart heavy least they see with their eyes... and return and be healed". This call to prayer is for both the Jews that they would now hear and see that there Messiah has come and is coming again also for the "Christians" that they too would return to the Lord to the way of Torah to the way of blessing! Let our hearts be softened. B'Shem Yeshua Hamashiach, Amen In His Love, Theresa
