Shalom Dear Brothers and Sisters Hinds Feet When we were at the zoo we came across the Mountain goats.  I don't recall the name of them but they were from the mountains in Afghanistan.  The zoo keepers had built-up stones high and tree logs so they could climb on them.  I was looking at all of them and I noticed one particular goat standing up on this branch of a tree trunk the branch was so thin yet he was balanced and poised.  My mind went to the Scripture and Habakkuk 3: 19, "The Lord is my strength; He will make my feet like Hinds feet and I will walk on the high places." Also in Psalm 18:3 David says the same thing! It's one thing to read this and visualize it in your mind but when you actually see this majestic creature standing so high and steady, calm and fearless it is something else.  The Word of God truly comes alive in your spirit!  This was a young mountain goat as I continue to watch him slowly turned around at first I thought he was going to make its way down but then he stood still once again.  It was as if he was showing us how he could easily maneuver up high on this thin branch. When I go for a walk I like to stay right in the middle of the sidewalk not too close to the edge for fear of falling off. I like nice wide sidewalks or walkways.  But the road to the kingdom of God is narrow not just the gate, so we must always keep our focus on the one who will lead us in the right way to go, Our Good Shepherd!  By doing so we too can walk on these high places though they may be steep at times as long as we keep our eyes on Him and our feet firmly planted allowing Him to always guide our paths we have nothing to fear!  By doing so we are not looking to the right or the left but straight ahead, we too will reach the goal are Abba has set for each of us.
