Shalom Dear Brothers and Sisters The Wailing Wall I have yet to have the privilege to go to the land of Israel. My heart aches to go there and I know one day soon I will make the trip. Even better one day when all is fulfill, I will be able to live there with Yeshua my King! In the meantime I went to a website to look at the Wailing Wall and oh how my heart broke. It was filled with many people but mostly with Orthodox Jewish men. My heart broke as I watched them praying calling out to God. I prayed earnestly that God would open their eyes and ears and hearts. The Jewish people have been through enough and so much. I thought of lamentations as I seen the men standing there praying. I went to lamentations chapter 1 as I reread it again it took on a whole new meaning for me. Yes the people have returned but many are still in captivity. Oh Saints if ever there was a time to pray it is now! Do you actually know the Word of God says in verse 2, "She weeps bitterly in the night, her tears on her cheeks, among all her lovers She has none to comfort her. All her friends have dealt treacherously with her; They have become her enemies". I thought of how we as the church over the centuries have been so guilty of being enemies of the Jewish people. How we have not stood up for them in their time of need many times. We claim salvation through Yeshua and follow God we forget if it were not for God's people we would not have had the opportunity for salvation. For salvation came first for the Jews then for the Greek/Gentile Romans 1:16. As I stared at the Wailing Wall I prayed and interceded repenting on behalf of myself and all the others who have been taught false doctrine. Instead of comforting the people of Israel in times of need we have actually been their enemy by not standing with them. This tiny little nation that wants nothing more than peace. All prophecies surrounds her and as we watch what goes on in the rest of the world we see that the days are coming soon of our Messiah's return! For those of us who have returned to our biblical/Hebraic roots we are learning the ways of our God. It is wonderful and a joyous thing. Let us not forget to pray for the rest of the church for they too are trapped in bondage deceived by the enemy. Let us stand with God's people the true seed of Abraham As I watched these men these Orthodox Jews working so diligently as to not break a single commandment of the Lord having heavy yoke's once again around their necks. The very ones Yeshua came for first. Those of us who have returned to the God of Israel and Messiah Yeshua need to be the ones to stand in the gap. We need to love on these people and provoke them into jealousy. When I say these people I mean all people both Jew and Gentile. Both Jew and those in the church who walk in lawlessness. When Israel fell into the trappings of combining the worship of God and included some of the traditions of the nations around them God warned them over and over. It is no different today we need to get back to worshiping God in spirit and in truth. The truth will lead us into all righteousness. The truth is found in the Torah both written and living! Yeshua been the living Torah and his sacrifice brought us life. Let us be ones that will comfort again we owe a great debt.
