Shalom Dear Brothers and Sisters Our Returning King The more I thought and ponderקג and meditated on Joshua 5:13-15 the more I thought of Yeshua. As we read through the Gospels our Messiah went about healing the sick casting out demons and teaching. His message was one of love and forgiveness for one another. When questions of the law arose He astounded the Pharisees and Sadducees with His answers. Even as a young child when He stayed behind in the temple He astounded the teachers of the law, Luke 2:47. The Pharisees were always looking for reasons to trip up Yeshua as in the example of whether it was good to pay taxes to Caesar, Mark 12:13-17. More importantly the message of both John the Baptist and Yeshua the Messiah was to repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand. When questioned by the Pharisees in Luke 5:30 to 32 Yeshua clearly declares it is the sick He has come to heal and bring to repentance! A prime example of this is the case of the woman caught in adultery, John 8:3-11. The Pharisees wanted her stoned according to the law of Moses which would have been applicable. They were testing Yeshua, once again He showed them the spirit behind the law. They were not applying it properly. First of all they needed two witnesses and the one that was committing adultery with her was also to be put to death. Yeshua never addressed any of this even though He knew the scripture well. Instead what He wanted was for people to look inward at ourselves first before we cast stones at others! He extended grace and mercy to this woman and forgave her sin and told her to sin no more. This is exactly what He is asking of us today as well. The message is still the same, "Repent for the Kingdom Is at Hand". Our King is coming back and just as He appeared to Joshua with a sword so to He will be returning to judge the living and the dead. His return is eminent as we look around we can see we are clearly in the latter days. The signs are all around us. If we have surrendered our hearts and lives to the King of Kings we have nothing to fear one day we will ride alongside Him as it says in revelations! In the mean time we need to get ready! He is returning for a spotless pure bride. We must press on spending time in the Word of God having the law in our mouth meditating on it. We have grace and mercy to repent from the sins we commit that we don't even know about yet. As we sit at our Masters feet on a daily basis, He will be faithful to show us what we need to change! To prepare our hearts and minds to bring glory to our Heavenly Father. To be witnesses for the world that they too can share in the salvation of our God. It takes work lipservice does not sell it. The world is tired of lipservice they want action they want true love. They want to see if we will live out what we believe. Believe me saints they are watching and crying out testing to see if we are a real or not. Let us do our best to show the world before He returns! B'Shem Yeshua Hamashiach, Amen In His Love, Theresa
